A new Police Community Support Officer has been appointed in Warfield.

Katie Woodgate joined the area's police force two weeks ago specifically to cover Warfield.

PC Robert Crwoford, the beat bobbie for Binfield and Warfield, said PCSO Woodgate's appointment last month would allow her colleagues to concentrate on Binfield, Winkfield and North Ascot.

"Warfield is one of the last areas in Bracknell Forest to have its own PCSO, so Katie is very welcome," he said.

"She is currently familiarising herself with the neighbourhood under the tutelage of experienced officers, and is happy to stop for a chat if you see her out on patrol."
