A man died when his blue BMW collided with a tree behind a post office in Binfield Road, Bracknell.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash , believed to have happened on Sunday at 8.30am. They were called to the scene one hour and forty minutes later.

The driver was a man in his forties who has not yet been formally identified. He was certified dead at the scene.

A formal identification is expected to take place later today  with a post-mortem examination in the next few days.
