TOP ARTIST WANTED - TO TEACH YOUTHS GRAFFITI ART

By Hugh Fort
May 10, 2006

A councillor is hoping to solve the graffiti problem in his ward – by replacing it with more graffiti.
Spray-painting youngsters regularly attack a large wall in Great Hollands Square.
Now Bracknell ward councillor John Piasecki hopes to find a professional graffiti painter to transform the eyesore into a work of art.
He said: “There’s this long wall in Great Hollands Square that has been vandalised with a lot of really bad graffiti.
“What I would like to do is repaint the wall and replace the bad, messy, horrible graffiti with good, artistic, properly-designed graffiti.
“What’s there at the moment is just a mess, I’d like to get half a dozen youngsters who live locally to help design it.”
