School closures in Wokingham Borough

All the borough's schools are currently open but the predicted snow could lead to closures later on or early finishes.

As of 7.30am today (Friday) this morning no schools in Bracknell Forest had announced they are closed.

Bracknell & Wokingham College is the only education provider closed at the moment.

Getwokingham will keep you updated throughout the day as the snow gets heavier.Addington School

All Saints CE (Aided) Primary School, Norreys Avenue, will close early at 1.00 pm due to the adverse weather conditions

Ambleside Centre, Woodley will be closing at 1pm today

Bracknell and Wokingham College is closed

Bearwood Primary School is open but will close at 11:00am today

Bulmershe will be closing at 12:20

Coombes Primary School will be closing from 1.00pm today. Children will receive an early lunch beforehandMembers of staff will remain on site until all children have been safely collected. Afterschool club has also been cancelled for this evening

Crazies Hill Primary School

Early St Peter are closed today

Emmbrook School is closing at 1pm

Emmbrook Infant school is closed today

Emmbrook Junior School is closed today 18/1/13 from 8:45 am

Farley Hill will close from 12noon today

Finchampstead Primary School will be closed from 12pm

Forest School will now close at 11:45pm due to worsening weather conditions

Foundry College

Gorse Ride Infant and Nursery School and Gorse Ride Junior School will close today at 1pm

Grazeley Parochial Church of England Aided Primary School

Hatch Ride Primary School will be closing at 1pm

Holt School will close 12:30pm for all year groups but will remain open for public exam students

Keep Hatch Primary is closed from 12 noon

Lambs Lane Primary School

Piggott School will be closing at 11:30 today

Polehampton Infant and Junior Schools will be closing today at 12 noon

Shinfield Infant school will close at 12:15pm

Shinfield St Marys CE Junior school will close at 12:30pm. There is no afternoon Nursery session today. Morning Nursery parents can pick up older siblings at 11.45 if they wish. The children will have had lunch at 11:30am.

Sonning Primary School will close at 1pm. Non school lunch children can be collected earlier - please ring school office to confirm.

Southfield School is closed

South Lake Primary School will be closed form 1:30pm today.

St Crispins will close 11am, however, it will remain open for one exam for about 30 students

St. Nicholas Hurst will be closing at midday today

St Paul’s Junior School will be closing at 1:30 today

St Paul's CE Junior School - Closing at 1:30pm today

St Teresa's is closing today at 3:15pm but parents can collect children at any time

Waingels College is closing at 12.15. The exam at 1 pm will still go ahead

Walter Infant School will be closing at 1:30pm today

Wescott Infant School will be closing at 12 noon today

Westende Junior School will be closed from 12pm today

Whiteknights Primary School will be closing at 1:30pm

Willowbank Junior and Enfant schools will be closing at 12:30pm

Winnersh Primary School will be closing from 11:00am

Holt school opened then closed saying school buses were available, they were not 202 and 244 leaving children stranded and parents having to drive in poor conditions to collect them.
