Retired Army Major General Tim Cross CBE was the guest speaker at the annual speech day and prize giving at Luckley-Oakfield School.
Major Cross CBE, a devout Christian, is a logistics expert who has dealt with numerous aid relief situations, including organising refugee camps in Macedonia and Kosovo.
Major Cross captivated the audience at the school in Luckley Road on Friday, November 9 with his speech reflecting on courage and character, and that these attributes are rooted more deeply than in academic qualifications.
