Harvard lecturer to speak on happiness at Wellington College

One of the world’s leading lecturers will be giving the keynote talk at a conference tomorrow at Wellington College.

Israeli Tal Ben-Shahar, a teacher and writer with a PhD in organisational behaviour from Harvard University, will speak about using positive psychology in the workplace to combat the strain of a hectic lifestyle. Dr Ben-Shahar is a consultant, teacher and lecturer on leadership, happiness, self-esteem, resilience and mindfulness.

The conference is aimed at chief executives, human resources directors and managers, psychologists, as well as psychotherapists, organisational consultants, counsellors and coaches.

Other speakers include Mark Williamson from Action for Happiness, Graham Randles from New Economic Foundation, Emma Judge from UK Resilience, and Chris Cullen from Oxford University Mindfulness Centre.

The conference will take place at the Crowthorne college between 10am and 4pm.
