Holly Spring pupils cheering on Olympics 2012

Olympic fever has broken out at Holly Spring School.

An exhibition of 2012-themed work by pupils from all age groups will go show to parents on Friday.

To celebrate, this aerial photo was taken at the school in Lily Hill Road by the Helipix company, which uses radio-controlled helicopters equipped with cameras.

Teacher and curriculum manager Kelly Muir said: “The children were very excited to have the aerial photo.

“They have made their own medals, timed themselves doing events and put them into a graph and researched past Olympic games.”

All mums and dads from the school were invited to view the private exhibition.
