Waverley School's science week challenge

A Finchampstead school harnessed the power of science to raise more than £50 for a children’s charity.
Waverley School in Waverley Way took part in National Science Week by holding a Paper Plane Competition in support of Dreamflight.
The children from pre-prep through to Year Six had great fun designing, creating and decorating their plane designs for the challenge, which culminated in a competition to find which plane travelled the furthest distance.
The Dreamflight charity sends seriously ill children on life-changing holidays.
