Book day a real page turner at St Teresa’s

A tale or two was told when youngsters in Wokingham celebrated World Book Day last week.
Schools in the borough used the day to celebrate the opening of a new library, while others allowed their pupils to attend lessons dressed as their favourite storybook characters.
At St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School in Easthampstead Road children enjoyed a week of book-themed fun, including readings in foreign languages and a talk from a Polar explorer.
On Friday, children came dressed as their favourite book character and parents watched as they paraded around the playground.
