It will be time for volunteers to shine on Saturday when a community landshare scheme throws its gates open to the public.
Bracknell Forest Homes is inviting people to enjoy activities and landscaping work taking place at the Jealott’s Hill Community Landshare, off Wellers Lane, on Saturday.
Anyone is welcome to visit the site to see what is going on or to roll up their sleeves and join in.
The six-acre site will be open from 10am to 4pm and no tools are needed.
Caroline Titley, the chief executive at Bracknell Forest Homes, commented: “This is a great opportunity for local people to enjoy the outdoors and join forces to work on the Jealott’s Hill Community Landshare.
“The site is being overseen by volunteers and partners in the Landshare, including Bracknell Forest Homes, Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action, Bracknell Town Council and Warfield Parish Council, and we welcome any other local people or organisations who would like to join in too.”
