Win tickets to Reading Beer and Cider Festival
April 16, 2012
getreading is ‘hoppy’ to be able to offer readers the chance to win one of five pairs of tickets to this year’s Reading Beer and Cider Festival.
This year the celebration of all things ale lasts for a whopping five days – from Wednesday, May 2, to Sunday, May 6 – and will feature more than 500 beers and ciders.
There will also be food, music, children’s entertainment and, for the first time, a special selection of American craft beers.
Last year was the first time it ran for five days – a measure the organisers took because of the extra bank holiday caused by the Royal Wedding which happened during the festival last year.
This year they decided to do it again to give beer buffs the chance to sample as many of the brews as possible. Around 450 ales will be available when the festival opens – the widest range at any time during the event.
During the event there will be a range of awards handed out, including CAMRA’s LocAle award for the best beer made within 30 miles of the festival site.
There will also, for the first time ever, be a quiz which will take place on the Thursday. Teams can register on the day or before the event.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning one of the five pairs of tickets is answer the following question:
How many days will the Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012 last for?
a) One day
b) Four days
c) Five days
Email your answers to email@example.com or send them to Beer and Cider Competition, c/o Mike Pyle, Reading Post, 8 Tessa Road, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 8NS by Friday, April 20.
