Dance stripped down to the bones

PEOPLE who would like to express themselves through the medium of dance should chasse down to The Concert Hall on Thursday.

Five leading contemporary dancers will be giving the premier performance of Bare Bones in two performances at 1.30pm and 8pm.

The group combines the skills of choreography and dance and will also be holding a dance workshop at the 21 South Street Arts Centre on Wednesday.

The dancers are Akram Khan, David Massingham, Henri Oguike, Yolande Snaith and Jasmin Vardimon.

The ensemble offers a range of dance styles revealing breath-taking speed and precision.

Tickets for the show cost £8 in the evening and £6 for the schools' matinée and £7.50 for the workshop which must be booked in advance.

People who go to the performance can get tickets to the workshop for free.
