World premiere of Jasmin Vardimon's Freedom dance show at South Hill Park

The world premiere of award-winning choreographer Jasmin Vardimon’s latest work will take place in Bracknell next week.

Barefoot dancers will be leaping, running and gliding among a jungle of hanging plants in Freedom.

The piece explores notions of what keeps our imagination free and uses a cast of international dancers for the provocative and daring show, held at the centre on Thursday, October 11.

The Jasmin Vardimon Company was founded in London in 1997 and is renowned for its quirky characterisation, physical theatre and innovative technology.

In Freedom, Jasmin unites the creative team behind her previous productions, Yesterday, Justitia and Park, to create colourful visuals which give an other-worldly feel to the piece.

At one moment in Freedom a ballerina dressed in a white tutu furiously pulls on two ribbons to create a rippling effect on the stage.

Huge lace-like vines fall around her and dancers twirl and float beneath her feet.

The dazzling show will be at South Hill Park for one night only and promises to be a visual treat for fans of dance.

n Freedom contains adult material and nudity. The show is suitable for ages 14+.

Tickets are £15, concessions £14, members £13.
