Dancers prepare to welcome Olympic torch to Reading

As the Olympic torch heads for the Madejski Stadium, here is a taster of what is in store for those lucky enough to have a ticket.
Dancers were rehearsing on Saturday to perform an excerpt from the spectacular Tree of Light project at this evening's Torch Relay celebration.
The year-long project, part of the Cultural Olympiad and designed to leave a lasting legacy from the London 2012 Games, has involved more than 1,000 singers, dancers and performers of all ages from across the Thames Valley.
The dancers pictured are Reading College Performing Arts BTEC Level 3 students, who will also be performing in the grand finale at Stonor Park, Henley on Saturday, July 21.
