Box Office Hot Tickets in Berkshire
October 28, 2009
You can catch Canadian comic Stewart Francis at South Street arts centre tomorrow night.
The star of Mock The Week and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow will give his set from 8pm.
Although he shares the same name as the former Crackerjack! host, there will be no grape crushing as he shares his wry take on life.
Tickets cost £12 and are available by calling the box office on (0118) 960 6060.
South Hill Park is giving over its Friday comedy night to Russell Kane this week.
The popular star of Mock The Week will be bringing his Human Dressage tour to the Bracknell venue.
The laughs start at 8pm and tickets cost £12. For more details, call (01344) 484123.
Jimmy Carr is returning to The Hexagon next week, but be warned, his show has moved from Tuesday to Monday, November 2.
The ever-popular comic with a quick draw wit and smart line in sarcastic put downs usually sells out, but some tickets are left for the one-night only performance.
For details, call the Reading Arts box office on (0118) 960 6060 or log on to www. readingarts.com.
Next week is the first Friday in the month and that means two comedy clubs are getting ready to cheer you up on these darker evenings.
The Gigglers Comedy Club in Woodley will be back from 8pm next week.
The comics on the bill are Stan Stanley, Mary Bourke and Marlon Davies.
Stan is married to Nina Conti and writes sketches for, among others, Parsons and Naylor’s Big Pullout.
Mary promises to deliver some dry Irish wit, while Marlon is a rising star on the circuit.
Tickets, at £10, have already sold out, but some returns may be available.
The night is held at the Inn on the Park in Woodley. For more details, call 07980 881598.
The Wokingham Comedy Club will also be laughing on Friday, November 6.
Acts on the bill have yet to be announced, but the show starts at 8pm and tickets, limited to 100, cost £12.50.
