A festive feast of entertaining shows lined up this Christmas

’TIS the season for pantos and those on the go include Jack and the Beanstalk at Reading’s Hexagon and Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.

You can catch Aladdin at the Oxford Playhouse and Bracknell’s Wilde Theatre, while the ever-popular Cinderella is at Windsor’s Theatre Royal and the Wycombe Swan.

The line-up also includes Beauty And The Beast at Newbury Corn Exchange, Snow White at The Anvil in Basingstoke and The Wizard Of Oz at The Haymarket, Basingstoke.

Away from panto you can catch the musical Starlight Express at Oxford’s New Theatre, Honk!, based on the Hans Andersen story The Ugly Duckling, at The Watermill Theatre in Newbury and Ray Cooney’s comedy Run For Your Wife at The Mill at Sonning.

The Will Of The Wisp is at 21 South Street, Reading, from Wednesday until Sunday and Rock Nativity, is at The Kenton Theatre, Henley, from Thursday until Saturday.

Chaconne Brass perform a musical celebration of Christmas at Reading Concert Hall on Saturday.
