London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony: live blog

The London 2012 Olympics comes to a close on Sunday evening after a terrific performance by Great Britain's Olympians.
The team surpassed their medal haul in Beijing five days before the London 2012 event was over.
You can follow all the action from the Olympic Stadium in Stratford in on our live blog from 7pm as we count down to the big moment.
Our feed will be packed with the latest news, comments and pictures coming out of the capital.
The closing ceremony celebrates the achievements of athletes at the Olympic Games, and includes a handover from host city London to the 2016 hosts Rio de Janeiro.
The ceremony will also feature the extinguishing of the Olympic Flame, signalling the end of the Games.
