Primal Scream are set to get temperatures soaring in the town this winter when the NME Rock ‘N’ Roll Riot Tour comes to Reading.

Starting in Oxford on November 20, Scotland’s favourite sons will be blowing up venues throughout the country on their 16-date extravaganza, culminating with a homecoming date at Glasgow’s SECC on December 13.

They come to Reading’s Hexagon on November 25.

Conor McNicholas, NME editor, said: “The NME Rock ‘N’ Roll Riot Tour has found a killer headliner with Primal Scream. This is shaping up to be an amazing tour.

“Bobby Gillespie (pictured) has always described his band’s output as being ‘high energy rock’n’roll’. Come and see just how right he is.”

Primals frontman Gillespie said: “Right now we’re playing better than ever, we’re having a great time, we’re having a ball.

“When people come to the show they’re really gonna get their money’s worth.”

All tickets are priced at £22.50 (plus booking fee) except in London where they are £25.00 (plus booking fee).

They are available from www.gigsandtours.com and a 24-hour credit card hotline 0871 2200 260. You can also call the NME Ticketline on 0871 230 1094.
