Intraverse clearly mean business

By Linda Serck

I VISITED the BBC’s Maida Vale studios last week – what a jaw-droppingly amazing building that is. But one band who’ve actually recorded an EP there are heading to Reading University to play a gig on Friday.

Funk rockers Intraverse are clearly a band who mean business. Their Maida Vale sesh was produced by David Hentschel (who’s worked with Genesis, Elton John and Ringo Starr), and they’ve been played on Radio One by Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq.

Support comes from UpCDownC and entry is £2, though it’s free to NUS card holders.
