JESSE JAMES FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS

26/ 6/2002

FOLLOWING the rip-roaring success of the Radio 1-aired AWEC ‘Smash It Up’ gig back in March, Jesse James were very keen to come back and do it all again.

The band play the Queens Road venue this Friday, when they will be bringing their infectious ska punk to the wilds of Hampshire.

Their debut ‘Shoes’ EP is out now on Deck Cheese Records and they recently supported The Pogues on their UK dates.

Support comes from eight-piece Cardiff punk outfit Shootin’ Goon and new band Archie and the Instincts, formed from members of a number of local bands including Wench, Brodie and LITP.

Tickets are £5 in advance from the box office on (01252) 330040.
