The Pretty Suspects get on the bus

By Jake Ben-David
May 12, 2009

Local indie band, The Pretty Suspects, will be kicking off the BritBus tour which starts in Brighton this Wednesday.

The Guildford foursome caught the attention of the BritBus tour organisers, being one of only 72 out of the 3,500 potential artists to get onboard and secure a slot.

Robin, Adam, Josh and Harry will be up against plenty of stiff competition, fighting for the chance to be part of one of the international tours which is likely to result in a recording contract.

Josh (drums) and Harry (bass), who have been members of the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford for only a short while, have quickly been able to develop their musical ambitions and work alongside many other similarly minded musicians.

They are joined by frontman Robin and Adam on guitar.

The Pretty Suspects are a band who know what they want, quickly getting themselves moving since forming in 2008.

Their blend of current indie and British punk could be a winner when the double decker tour bus hits the Concorde2 in Brighton on May 13.

Keep up to date with the band at www.myspace.com/theprettysuspects.
