JUDE LAW and GWYNETH PALTROW are heading for a new sci-fi movie.
The megastars will appear in big-budget science fiction thriller The World of Tomorrow which comes from first-time writer-director KERRY CONRAN.
The film goes into production in late February in London, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Italian-based producer AURELIO DE LAURENTIIS, who is financing the film, is executive producing it along with Law and his actress wife, SADIE FROST, among others.
The project is described as "retro sci-fi" and is set at the turn of the 20th century.
The story follows a reporter (Paltrow) and a pilot (Law) who team up on an adventure.
De Laurentiis hopes The World of Tomorrow could end up as a franchise saying there is merchandising potential for video games and more.
The project marks a return to sci-fi for Law who made AI - Artificial Intelligence and Gattaca.
It also reunites the British actor with Paltrow - the pair along with MATT DAMON starred together on thriller The Talented Mr Ripley.
