It seems pickpocketing has come a long way since the days of the Artful Dodger and his band of lovable scamps in Oliver Twist.
Nowadays, the thieves are a ruthlessly-efficient army patrolling London's west end with the sole aim of nicking your wallet.
The one-off documentary reveals rogues focus on large crowds of drunken revellers, on the grounds that someone who's absolutely battered might not have their wits about them presumably.
The gangs use techniques to further disorientate the person and then strike without them knowing.
Well, the cops are on to them and we learn about a police sting targeting the gangs.
Let's hope one of the more brazen crooks doesn't swipe one of the coppers' radios.
