Walking Wounded: Return to the Frontline

Channel 4

10pm

The amazing photographer Giles Duley was nearly killed after stepping on an improvised explosive while with the US Army in Afghanistan.

He lost both his legs and an arm in the horrific incident.

18 months later, he's back in Afghanistan.

The difference is he now has two prosthetic legs and a prostethic arm, but he still has his camera.

18 months after the incident he's back in Afghanistan photographing the extraordinary work done by an Italian charity that helps civilian amputees.

It will be pretty bleak I imagine, particularly as they show footage taken of him just after being blown up.

But as bleak it is, we should get an insight into the man's astonishing bravery and he now focuses on people who have similar injuries and lives.
