The Beatles' Please Please Me - Remaking a Classic

Those readers with long memories might remember 1963 as the year when music changed forever.

Four scouse blokes with floppy hair called The Beatles released their first album called Please Plase Me.

Incredibly, the album was recorded in a single day at Abbey Road and this programme invites various performers back into the studio to celebrate its 50th anniversary (feeling old anyone) by recreating it.

Sound engineer Richard Langham and their press officer (tough job) Tony Barrow are interviewed for their memories of the 12-hour recording session.

We learn that John Lennon had the sniffles on the day and as a result had to leave the recording of the final song, twist and shout, until last.

There's no indication as to whether the remaining Beatles are interviewed, although it gets the thumbs up from me if it is a modern-McCartney free zone.

Typo in second paragraph , "Please Plase Me."

Poof reading invoice in the post.

But seriously, typos sometimes happen as do spelling mistakes, but what sort of software do you use which doesn't check these things? Is it left over from the Grauniad?
