Posho food crusader Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is back and heading to the high seas to show us all the thing wrong with large-scale fishing.

In this, the first episode of the second series, he looks at trying to help fish stocks recover.

I'd guess this idea revolves around not catching as many of a certain type of fish to allow the numbers to grow - which seems eminently sensible.

Of course, one thing we know about Governments is that they're not sensible, so he might have a battle on his hands.

Currently almost none of the water surrounding Britain is protected so if he gets any it's a success.

As well as this, he also goes to the Isle of Man to look at the effects of collecting scallops around the Isle of Man.

The most interesting part seems to be when he goes to the Phillipines to meet fisherman whose chosen method is to use dynamite.

The last series helped get a ban on fisherman chucking surplus dead fish back into the sea, so the campaign is moving in the right direction.
