Friends of Danyl expect he’ll be a hit Stateside

Danyl Johnson’s pals don’t think the singing sensation will stay home for long.

Despite his plans for a homecoming gig, Danyl’s friends think he will definitely be off to seek stardom in the US after the X Factor tour ends in February.

His housemate Richard ‘Mac’ McCallum has confirmed that Danyl is unlikely to stay at their village home and his former employer at Mo’s Dance School is not expecting him to come back and teach.

Monica Cleaver, who runs the Coley dance school, said: “He is so talented and he has done so well. I would say his body language with Simon Cowell suggests he already has a record deal with him.

“When he did his first audition they wanted him to go to America and I just think his style would be so well suited over there.”

Mr McCallum said: “Danyl came back briefly on Monday but he is just so busy.

“I don’t think he will be back living in Arborfield. I would love to still live with him somewhere but we shall see. I am just so pleased for him and so proud he has done so well.”

Alastair Thomann, vice president of operations Europe at pentahotel, where Danyl plans his thank you gig, said: “Everyone here at penta Reading is so proud of him.

“We have really enjoyed having so many of his friends and family here supporting Danyl – it has been such a fantastic atmosphere.

“Of course it was very disappointing on Sunday but Danyl is going far and this is just the start of his adventure.

“We are really looking forward to throwing a huge party for him in the next couple of weeks.”

Danyl’s former headteacher at Highdown School Tim Royle, said: “Danyl was due to come and perform here this week if he had got through to the final so the kids are disappointed.

“They were really supporting him so of course it is a shame but he has just done so well and we are so proud of him.

“We arranged permission for two helicopters to land at the school and Simon Cowell was supposed to be coming but we hope Danyl will be able to pop in when he has the time.”

Lillimarie Maybelle - gosh it is easy to wind people like you up.

You need to go back to previous articles about him being a fraud - remember the facial expressions one week -so false.

I'm currently putting a dossier together and hope that Getreading will publish my findings!

GetReading wont drop Danyl stories DickyDo, not while they give so much enjoyment to people...me included.

However his 15 minutes are just about up, so Cowell better had rush out the karaoke cd pretty damn sharpish.

Danyl's housemate has just phoned me to say Danyl still isnt a diva. The title of the cd? Go Fourth.

Nope, not jelousy, just dont watch reality TV cos its mindnumbing. I bet everyone hates reading about big brother.....same thing, Xfactor was entertaining during the beginning but people arn't as interested anymore, it needs something more than just singers, maybe they could write there own material, wud definately show talent and inspiration!
