The 27-year-old Arborfield lad, a former pupil at Starmaker theatre school, has received a bundle of messages of support on YouTube for him to watch before he goes on stage on Saturday.
Friends and former teachers at Starmaker, who have been religiously voting for Danyl every week, have made a video package for him to watch.
In one of the clips Leo, a current pupil at the stage school, said: “We are so proud of you Dan. I hope you go all the way, good luck.”
His former choreography teacher Michelle, said in her clip: “Good luck, Danny has got the X Factor!”
Performing arts teacher Danyl, who also worked at Mo’s Dance School and Elstree School in Woolhampton, was finally allowed to shake his hips with a sizzling dance routine to go with Take That’s Relight My Fire last week, before a moving performance of the beautiful Your Song by Elton John.
His performances were enough to keep him in the competition and now he is through to the semi-final which will see one last performer go on Sunday before the remaining three battle it out in the final.
Now Danyl, Stacey, Olly and Joe will perform another two songs on the live show on Saturday before they hear their fate on Sunday.
