Danyl Johnson survives X Factor 'diva week'
By Laura HerbertOctober 19, 2009
X Factor hopeful Danyl Johnson is still in the running to scoop this year’s crown as he survived last night’s results show.
Saturday’s live show was branded diva week as the 11 remaining contestants each sung hits by classic divas and got to meet Whitney Houston.
Danyl from Arborfield sang I Don’t Know My Own Strength, a previously unheard of album track by Whitney Houston.
He and fellow contestants Olly Murs and Jamie Archer, also mentored by Simon Cowell in the Over 25 category, all made in through to next week.

I get the picture that you don't like the 'manufactured' & money making aspect of it, but why the derogatory comments on his character and ability? It doesn't add up....I'm starting to worry that you're getting addicted to posting comments for the sake of it and trying to find your 15mins of fame through this medium?
But hey, I better stop now before I start posting my opinion on every story on this website...

"The Two Planks"
Nice one. Watching John and Edward Grimes is much the same to watching You've Been Framed... except it causes lasting damage to your ears, and not just from your *insert family memeber*'s awful laughing in your ear.
Please please please get rid of them. Oh... hold on... I'm commenting on this... what has happened to me.
What I really was going to say... Please provide alternative suggestions for nick names for, 'The Two Planks' Aka, John and Edward Grimes!

Except the 2 planks made it through - one of the funniest Kareoke performances I've ever seen. And these are supposed to be the 12 finalists - cripes !
