A group of 16 Venetian rowers will be taking part in the Beale Park Boat Show this weekend.
They will be offering visitors a unique trip on the Lower Basildon park’s seven acre lake in the heart of the showground.
Nick Bailey, director of Beale Park, visited the rowers from City Barge in Oxford.
He said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome the Venetian rowers, including some gondoliers, to the show. They will add a new and colourful element to the event as we join forces with our exhibitors and entertainers alike to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, with themed activities and a ‘child goes free’ offer.”
The boat show, which runs from today until Sunday, will also feature a host of family activities, competitions and entertainment.
