Enjoy children's story time sessions at your library

January 27, 2011

Youngsters around Bracknell have been hearing the adventures of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Gruffalo at story time sessions at Bracknell’s libraries.

Children and their parents visited sessions at Great Hollands Library in Great Hollands Square on Friday, January 7, and Birch Hill Library in Leppington on Tuesday, January 26.

Community librarian Pat Almond visits the two libraries, as well as Bracknell Library in Broadway, once a week to read to children.

Simon Hart, supervisor at Great Hollands Library, said: “The story times are very popular and we usually get about 10 children and their parents.

“Pat reads them children’s favourites like The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”

Sessions at Great Hollands Library are on Fridays at 3.40pm.

For more information on the sessions across Bracknell visit www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk.
