Look Out Discovery Centre scores top marks

December 21, 2010

The Look Out Discovery Centre has been declared a “jewel in Bracknell’s cultural crown” after scoring high marks for customer service.

The science and nature centre for children scored 82 per cent in a recent visitor survey – the industry average is 69 per cent.

Councillor Iain McCracken, executive member for culture for Bracknell Forest Council, said he was not at all surprised that the centre had scored nine out of 10 for customer care, cleanliness and marketing.

He said: “The Look Out has long been regarded as one of the jewels in our cultural crown.

“This is fantastic feedback and a credit to all the staff.”

A mystery shopper visited the centre and assessed the reception area, staff supervision and cleanliness along with promotion and marketing.

In the report the Look Out was described as “incredibly exciting and attractive” not only for younger children but for older children as well.
