Medal-winning hero Zac Purchase offers oar-some tips

Olympic gold medallist Zac Purchase will be taking to the water once more to celebrate an open day at Reading Rowing Club.
The Tilehurst oarsman will be on hand at the club next to Caversham Bridge on Saturday between 12pm and 3pm to give advice about the sport and encourage others to follow in his Olympic footsteps.
The 22-year-old from Gairn Close on the Dee Park estate won gold with team-mate Mark Hunter in the lightweight double scull on Lake Shunyi at this year’s games.
