Comedy from Oz at the Reading Festival

Comics from Down Under will be topping the bill on this year’s Reading Festival Alternative Stage.
Headliners include comic musician Tim Minchin and Brendon Burns.
Other top acts include US comic Doug Stanhope and Adam Buxton, who will be presenting BUG, the Evolution of Music video.
Festival-goers can also see comedians Junior Simpson, Milton Jones, Tom Stade, Hugh Lennon, Mitch Benn, Matt Read, Steve Gribbin, Steve Williams, Holly Walsh, Stephen Grant, Markus Birdman, Stuckey and Murray, Jessica Delfino, Gary Delaney, Mark Oliver and Daniel Townes.
Spoken-word performers will include poetry from Aidan Moffat, beatboxing from The Petebox and rap and poetry from Kate Tempest.
Musicians Carl Barat and Jon “The Reverend” McClure will take part in a political debate on Friday, August 28.
