THE arrival of summer saw a peak in trade for a Guildford pub on the river, as customers took advantage of outside tables and a view of the water. If you are the person circled in the main picture to the right, you have won our special Guest List prize!

The Row Barge, next to the River Wey, offered a great setting for an evening drink last Friday night as groups of friends took advantage of its outdoor seating.
The pub, in Riverside, offers pool and darts, and has a large selection of songs on its retro jukebox as well as hosting live music several times a month.
Owned by Mark and Chrissie East since 2008, the pub has built its reputation for good food, a relaxed atmosphere, a range of beers and varied entertainment.
It was voted Pub of the Year 2012 by the Surrey and North Hampshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale. Food is served between noon and 7pm from Monday to Saturday.
Bands play every Friday and Saturday evening, and an open mic night is held on Wednesdays. More information can be found online at www.rowbargeguildford.com.
