PARTYGOERS had their first chance to inspect the £500,000 makeover of a Guildford nightclub last Thursday. Scroll down the page for a gallery of photos.

Previously known as Time, the venue on North Street has been re-launched under the name Dusk.

The 10-week makeover included the installation of new sound and light systems and a black granite dancefloor. Late-night revellers also had the chance to enjoy the bar’s new seating areas and chill-out zones.

General manager at Dusk, Rik Chipping, said: “Dusk is the newest and trendiest venue in Guildford.

“Our base sessions will be Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.”

“The other nights will cater for niche markets and specialist music styles, including rock, indie, drum and bass and hip-hop. We will also hold regular sessions aimed at the gay, singles and foreign student markets.”
