Back in the Day, Church Hill House Hospital 1972

By Rhodri Andrews
March 22, 2013

Bracknell Parish Hall celebrated the start of the new year in style by releasing 2,000 balloons on the stroke of midnight.

Staff and friends of Church Hill House Hospital danced their socks off, with a great night had by all.

And Bracknell-based The Barden Corporation (UK) Ltd, left, were a big part in the construction of Concorde, producing precision bearings in the Western Industrial Estate.

The corporation’s parts were considered out of this world, as their bearings were used on the spacecraft for the Apollo missions, as well as civil and military aircraft.
