Learn about the darks side of gardening at meeting tonight

Garden historian Russell Bowes will be talking about the darker side of gardening at Bracknell Horticultural Association’s next meeting.
The talk titled The Devil’s Garden will delve into plants with a more sinister and unsavoury history, from the well-known forbidden fruit of Eden to the dark secrets lurking in the domestic pot of basil.
This journey into the darker side of horticulture takes place at 7.30pm, on Wednesday, March 6, at Coopers Hill Youth and Community Centre in Bagshot Road, Bracknell.
Entry is free for members and £3 for guests.
