Get your teams ready for Bracknell's annual Pancake Race

Frying pans at the ready – Bracknell’s flippin’ fantastic charity pancake race is back for the 12th year running.

Businesses and organisations will compete in the race in Broadway at 10.30am in a bid to be crowned winner on Shrove Tuesday, February 12.

Rob Morris, Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) general manager, which organises the event, said: “The charity pancake race is great fun.

“We would encourage everyone in the town to get involved and put in a team so that we can make this the best year yet and raise a lot of money for two very good causes.”

This year, all money raised will be split between Sebastian’s Action Trust and the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance.

Teams of four can enter for £20 (£5 per team member) – all they need to do is remember to bring a frying pan.

The competition will be a series of knockout heats before a final decides the winner.

To be in with a chance of being crowned 2013 pancake race champions, email gemma.tizzard@bracknell.co.uk for an entry form.
