Head along to climate change meeting tomorrow

By Jennie Slevin
January 22, 2013

Tackling climate change and what can be done to reduce your carbon footprint will be the subject of a meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, January 23).

The discussion will look at what has been done both locally and worldwide in recent years to tackle the effects of global warming.

Chris Goodall, award winning author of How to Live a Low-Carbon Life, will be talking at the event with Peter Burt, Greenpeace’s official South East representative and Colin Griffin, Bracknell Forest Council’s climate change officer.

The meeting, organised by East Berkshire Green Party, takes place at Coopers Hill Youth & Community Centre, Crowthorne Road North at 7.30pm.

There will be a Q&A session at the end to give listeners a chance to voice their concerns and opinions.

For further information about the meeting contact Mark Brown on 07971 829 770 or via email at northfieldmusic@gmail.com.
