Little One's Market raises cash for the Ollie Young Foundation

A new business, selling ‘pre-loved’ baby clothes and toys, has been raising money for the Ollie Young Foundation.

Sarah Bishton, from Bracknell, and Lucy Henton, of Ascot, launched Little One’s Market on Saturday, November 3, at Jennett’s Park Community Centre.

The two mums started their baby fair business to help families raise and save money while supporting local charities.

Sarah said: “We had 24 stalls at our first event and were delighted to see the community give their support to this very worthwhile cause.

“Children are so precious and, being mums ourselves to two baby daughters, we wanted to raise as much as possible to help Ollie Young’s family and supporters toward vital research and support into brain tumours.”

The mothers donated some of the money from the sale of the tables to the charity and ran a raffle which was supported by local businesses which generously offered up prizes.

The pair will be presenting the Ollie Young Foundation with a cheque but want to raise even more money so are planning another market. For more information or to book a table email bookings@littleonesmarket.co.uk.
