Great Hollands families are looking forward to springtime after planting 600 bulbs to brighten up their estate.
Residents, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and members of the Great Hollands Community Association planted the bulbs in just 90 minutes.
The planting was organised by Councillor Mary Temperton.
Thanking everyone who helped, she said: “The bulbs we planted 10 years ago by the bus-turning circle were getting a bit thin so I bought new ones and many people turned up to help. Remaining bulbs were put into the planters near the Talk Shop.
“It was a lovely community activity and we are looking forward to the spring and the results of our work.”
