Mayor's ball raises £2,000 for Air Ambulance

More than £2,000 was raised for charity at Bracknell Forest mayor’s ball.
Borough mayor Councillor Jennie McCracken and her husband Cllr Iain McCracken welcomed 100 guests to Easthampstead Park Conference Centre, off Peacock Lane, for the fundraiser on Friday, October 19.
The event raised £2,200 for Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance, the mayor’s chosen charity for the year, through ticket sales and a raffle.
Cllr McCracken said: “It went very well.
“Everybody was extremely generous so I’m very grateful for that.”
