Raise cash for HOPEHIV at bounceathon on Sunday

By Becky Barnes
October 19, 2012

Bouncers are needed for a 12-hour charity event on Sunday.

Trampoline coaching, games, cake sales and more will be available at the bounceathon at Brakenhale School, Rectory Lane, from 8am to 8pm.

The event is part of Nicki Petitt’s year-long fundraiser where she has taken on one physical challenge per month during 2012 to help her team raise £250,000 for HOPEHIV.

The charity supports communities and young people in sub-Saharan Africa who have been orphaned or affected by Aids/HIV.

Nicki, 27, of Tamworth, Bracknell, has been running marathons, climbing mountains, taking to open water swims, triathlons and much more.

She said: “Please do your bit, come down to the club and bounce your heart out for HOPEHIV.

“No time booking is required, just turn up throughout the day – we need as many bouncers as possible to make this happen, so see you there.”

A minimum donation of £5 per bouncer is suggested.
