Youngster learn ninja skills

By Julie Spencer
September 14, 2012

The skills and discipline of the ninja are being taught to children in Bracknell by a world-class instructor.

Ian Watkins has opened up his martial arts school to children as young as four and is offering free classes during September.

Ian, the chief instructor Bujinkan Tendoshingan Dojo, a school with branches in Manchester, London and Bracknell, said the classes would be ‘a fun, healthy and exciting experience in a safe environment’.

He added: “We will teach the skills that I teach my older pupils but it will be fun with balancing games and fitness work.”

Ian, who lives in Hanworth, has taught all over the world and his pupils usually attend his sessions by invitation only.

Classes for children aged up to 14 take place at Hanworth Community Centre on Wednesday evenings. Teenagers aged 15 and over can join the adult class on Wednesday nights.

Parents must register their children for the free classes at ian@tendoshingan.com.
