ASCOT - Ascot Heath Library, Fernbank Road. Make crowns and windmills to take to your street parties for children up to 12 years old. 2.30pm - 4pm. FRIDAY JUNE 1

BRACKNELL – The Bull, 56 High Street. Bullfest. Live music, all day barbecue, bouncy castle and speciality ales and ciders. In aid of armed forces charities. 6pm until late. Details: (01344) 566 6858.

FINCHAMPSTEAD - Finchampstead Library, Gorse Ride North. 2pm. Reminisce about the Queen’s coronation, and life in the 1950s, during an afternoon of history at Finchampstead Library. People are being invited to bring along their own memorabilia and chat to others about their memories of the 1950s. There will also be a chance to enjoy a cup of tea from the cafe.

SHINFIELD - Shinfield Parish Hall. 2pm to 4pm. Tea Dance. Free.

SUNDAY JUNE 3
 

BRACKNELL - Bracknell Rugby Club, Lily Hill Park. Diamond Jubilee Quiz Night. 8pm to 10pm. Entry £5 per player. Maximum of six per team. Royal family fans will be able to test out their knowledge and enjoy a barbecue alongside the quiz. All profits from the event go to the Spend-A-Penny appeal. EASTHAMPSTEAD - St Michael and St Mary Magdalene Church, Crowthorne Road. Jubilee Flower Festival and Celebrating 60 Years weekend, and craft fair 10am – 4pm. Trinity Service 9.30am. And Evensong at 6pm.

SHINFIELD – School Green. Wheelbarrow race. A wheelbarrow and pram race, open to all ages, is taking place on Sunday, with prizes for the best-decorated conveyance and team fancy dress. Entry is £3 per team and people should register at the parish office by Friday, June 1.

Street parties

Pankhurst Drive. Party from 2pm onwards. Children's tea party and games and best crown competition. Adults party and pub quiz till late.

TUESDAY JUNE 5

BIRCH HILL - Herondale. Street Party for Herondale residents and their families. Prize for best decorated house, fancy dress competitions and free raffle. £5 for adults and £2.50 for children which includes food and soft drink. 3pm

SUNNINGDALE – Sunningdale Bowling Club Green, Whitmore Lane. Club Day to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Afternoon bowls drive with red, white and blue dress (diamonds optional) from 4pm, followed by a dinner with after dinner speech from Farnham Town Crier, Jonathan Jones. Visitors welcome. SATURDAY JUNE 9
 

BARKHAM – Barkham Village Hall, Church Road. 2pm to 5pm. Barkham Village Diamond Jubilee family fun afternoon. Free entry. Traditional family fun day. Craft competitions with a selection of categories including make a cake, make a card to the Queen on her jubilee, write out the first verse of the national anthem, and make a model of the Olympic torch. People are asked to bring their entries to the village hall at 2pm, with judging to take place at 3pm. During the day there will also be ice-creams, fun races with Olympic medals, Punch and Judy shows, teas, classic cars and a bouncy slide. In the evening there will be a buffet and live music from the Mike Wells Band, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets for the evening are £9.50 including the buffet and can be bought by calling (0118) 977 1579.

WARFIELD - Warfield Memorial Ground. 12pm to 4pm. Warfield Village Fete. Free entry. A Jubilee beacon will be lit at the annual Warfield village fete to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Families will be filing into the Memorial Ground for a day of bouncy castle fun, raffles, silent auctions, ferret racing and more. Morris dancers will be entertaining the crowds and there will be a bouncy castle and slides for children. The event is raising money for the Bracknell Food Bank which supports families in need.
