Shoppers say farewell as HMV closes

As HMV in Bracknell closes its doors for the last time sad shoppers have taken to social media sites to share their disappointment.

The troubled Charles Square store, which shut-down on Wednesday, March 20, was one of 66 branches of the music chain identified for closure by the company's administrators.

On Twitter ex-worker @pixee_pea said: "Totes emosh, made my last purchase at HMV Bracknell. Spent 2½yrs working there to fund Uni. Made some fab friends & met some lovely people ♥"

While @tombrooker added: "Last day of hmv in Bracknell today. I want I hear nothing but power ballads all day."

Well I enjoyed Chicks with Chainsaws I so much I just had to see the sequel...

And as for that DVD you nearly bought - Chicks With Chainsaws II: Loggers Wives!

Sad news for our high street, but still shockingly over-priced even after everything that's happening to them! They're not even trying to make changes - well, they don't appear to be anyway! I popped into the Oracle store today, glanced around at a few price tags, then left to shop elsewhere and get the same products much cheaper!
