A roadshow spreading the word to young firms in Reading about the increasing number of financing opportunities on offer will be coming to the Town Hall on Thursday.
Champion for small businesses and former Dragons’ Den star Doug Richard is on the hunt for 10,000 new investors to match with businesses needing an injection of cash, and he hopes his roadshow will show Reading people how they can play a part in the resurgence of British business.
Taking place between 9.30am and 1.30pm, the School for Startups founder’s free half-day ‘Windows of Opportunity’ event will provide expert advice to businesses in search of finance.
Mr Richard said: “I’m looking forward to inspiring a new generation of business angels to back the start-up entrepreneurs who are so crucial the UK’s economic future.”
