Businesses wanted for community volunteering

November 19, 2009

Colleagues looking for a new team-building challenge can do something for the community and strengthen their work relationships at the same time.

Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action (BFVA), which supports voluntary and community organisations in the borough, wants groups of colleagues to get involved in some of the many projects it is working on.

A BFVA spokesman said; “There is a wide range of projects needing to be done for local schools, charities, churches and worthwhile causes throughout Bracknell Forest.

“From various projects involving painting and decorating rooms, clearing gardens, planting bulbs and sprucing up playground benches to helping at a Christmas party for people with learning disabilities and staffing a stall in Princess Square.”

For more information about getting involved you can call Tracey Morgan on (01344) 383515 or email tracey.morgan@bfva.org
