A Caversham management accountant trainee has been ranked second in the world in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) exams.
William West, from Matlock Road, is a business planning and investment manager at Mars UK Ltd and gained the second highest score in the May 2009 Paper P10 Test of Professional Competence in Management Accounting.
The score from the CIMA exam will count towards his qualification as a chartered accountant. More than 34,000 students in 96 countries worldwide sat the exams in May.
